ESMA’s key priorities for the year ahead with Verena Ross, chair of ESMA

About Verena Ross:
Verena has been Chair of ESMA since November 2021 and served as ESMA’s first Executive Director from 2011. Before joining ESMA, she worked at the Financial Services Authority in the policy, strategy, and international divisions, and at the Bank of England. She has degrees in Sinology, Chinese, and economics from the universities of Hamburg and London.
