Diversity breakfast series – the Gadhia review of gender diversity in financial services
In summer 2015, the UK government commissioned Jayne-Anne Gadhia, chief executive of Virgin Money, to conduct a review of gender diversity in financial services (full details of the review can be found here).
In November, she presented her initial three proposals:
– Setting and disclosing targets for diversity
– Setting a strategic plan for improving diversity and holding senior executives accountable for it
– Setting diversity as one factor in setting variable pay
This breakfast workshop hosted with Virgin Money will help provide direct feedback into the consultation process ahead of the publication of the final report in February 2016.
A summary of the discussion can be downloaded here.
And our research on gender diversity in senior levels across the capital markets can be downloaded here.
